Chilli Saucy Pasta

1 tbsp olive Oil
8 sausages – cut in to chunky pieces
1 large onion
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp chili powder
400g chopped tomatoes
300g short pasta – such as penne or Fusili

Fry the sausage chunks until browned all over – turn down the heat and add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.

Cook pasta as per the packet instructions

Add the tomaotes and Chilli powder to the sausages in the pan, bring to the boil and turn the heat down and let simmer for 10 minutes.

Drain the pasta and tip in to the frying pan with the sausages and sauce.  Mix well to coat and serve immediately.

Particularly nice with crusty bread.
