He's not a big fan of the pork chop my Husband. He also doesnt much care for the Aniseed flavour of Chinese Five Spice.
Its not the first time we have made this dish but is was such a hit first time round that I have found myself making it again so that I can share it with you.
One pork chop per person and serve with a big pile of stir fried veggies. Finish with Soy Sauce and spice it up with a couple of chilies and a large lump of ginger finely sliced and mixed in with the Stir Fried veg.
Marinate the pork chops for an hour before cooking. Make the marinade from three tablespoons of runny honey, a teaspoon of Chinese Five Spice and grated Orange Zest.
Don't resist the temptation to add a squeeze of the orange juice if you are not saving it for something else
Place the chops under a preheated grill for about eight minutes on each side, the honey should cook to a glaze and the fat should crisp to a slight char.
Allow the chops to rest for a minute before serving with a pile of stir fried veg and a vegetable spring roll
