Cheesy Beef Carbonnade


15g butter
1 onion (chopped)
350g minced beef
25g Plain Flour
1/2pt Beer or vegetable stock
200g new potatoes - small whole or cut into small pieces
50g button mushrooms
1 tsp Worcestereshire Sauce
Salt and Pepper
50g finely grated Cheddar Cheese
Chopped Parsley - to garnish

Melt butter in a frying pan, add onions and minced beef, fry gently for 5-10 minutes until the meat is cooked and the onion translucent
Stir in the remaining ingredients - other than the cheese and parsley, bring to the boil and then simmer for 25-30 minutes
Serve hot, with the grated cheeese and parsley sprinkled on top.  Good with a green salad
