Cajan Chicken Pie

Ingredients
50g Shortcrust pastry
200ml milk
2 eggs
1 tsp Mild Cajun Mix
175g left over Cooked chicken
Pepper and Salt
1 eating apple finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped

 

Method
Use the shortcrust pastry to line a 23cm flan tin - bake blind for 15 minutes in a preheated oven (200C).

Mix the milk, eggs, cajun seasoning and seasoning together.

Remove the pastry case from the oven and put the chopped apple, onion and chicken in the pastry case, pouring the egg mixture over the other ingredients and bake for a further thirty minutes


Serves six - and less than 50p per person
