Beef Layer Pie with Yoghurt Topping


1 medium onion, chopped
25g butter
225g cooked roast beef, minced
1/4 tsp mixed herbs
2 level tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Pepper
450g potatoes, peeled
225g tomatoes skinned and sliced (or tinned tomatoes, drained)
1 egg, beaten
25g flour
140g natural Yoghurt

Cook onion gently in butter.  Add minced meat, herbs, worcester sauce and  tomato puree.  Season

Boil potatoes until tender and slice thinly.  In a casserole dish arrange potato slices and meat in layers finishing with potatoes.

Cover and bake in oven at 190C for 30 minutes.

Blend the flour to the yoghurt and egg.  Seaon and spook over pie and return to oven for 30 minutes.
Dust with Paprika before serving
