Sausage and Baked Bean Casserole

Sausage and Potato pie cookedIngredients

1 packet of Sausages (work on two sausages per person)
1 tin of baked beans
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
Fresh herbs
4 large Potatoes
Butter or cream


Gently fry the sausages and once browned all over, pour in the baked beans and chopped tomatoes.  Season and herb and simmer for 10 minutes.

Peel and dice the potatoes, simmer in salted water until cooked through. Mash with butter or cream.

Serve the sausages with the mash potato.

Serves four – each meal less than £1
