Ingredients
500g minced beef
45g Fresh white breadcrumbs
Oil for greasing/frying
Turkish Flavourings
1/2 tsp ground cumin
Pinch of cinnamon
1 tbsp finely chopped mint
Greek Flavourings
1 Tbls olive oil
2 Tbls chopped Dill
1/2 tsp cumin
Hungarian Flavourings
1 tsp Paprika
Lemon juice
1 clove of garlic, crushed
Italian Flavourings
1 clove of garlic, crushed
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
Method
Add the beaten egg and breadcrumbs to the mince, along with the flavourings of your choice
Lightly oil or wet your hands and roll the meat in to small balls (golf ball sized), or patties, or wrap along long metal skewers.
To cook either fry or grill – the meat will take between 5 and 15 minutes depending on the size of the portion being cooked.
Serve with rice, or pasta, in toasted pitta’s or tortilla wraps with salad.
